ORDERING
To place an order, email us at info@gisprovisioning.com along with your shopping list, any special requirements, preferred delivery location, date and time. We will email you back to confirm all the details.
Please submit your order at least 24 hours prior to delivery for local orders (Genoa area), 2 days in advance for Ligurian ports and 3 days in advance for any other destination.
DELIVERING
We deliver across the Mediterranean using our refrigerated vans, ensuring top-quality and fresh products directly from our dedicated facilities in Genoa.
Free delivery in the Genoa Area (between Marina Genova and Waterfront Marina) subject to minimum order. Delivery costs to other locations are based on distance, and transport fees are progressively reduced as the order value increases.
Orders to Portofino must be delivered between 7:30 and 10:00 a.m., as per port regulations.
terms and conditions
Our quotations are valid for 7 days from the quoted date. Quotations and prices provided for fresh, perishable and/or seasonal produce are estimates only for guidance purposes, and prices payable by the Customer are determined at the time of purchase based upon prevailing market prices. We reserve the right to re-quote or cancel the order if necessary.
All prices are quoted in Euro ex VAT.
When an order is sent to Genoa International Supplies Srl (GIS) the Customer accepts an agreement to complete the order and sales contract within the time agreed.
In case of unavailability of a specific product, GIS will endeavour to supply a product of similar nature or superior quality, providing the specific information to the Customer in advance.
The Customer acknowledges that Goods ordered will often be perishable in nature, and accordingly if the Customer either cancels the Contract or fails to accept delivery of the Goods within 3 working days, GIS shall be entitled to invoice the Customer for all work carried out to date and goods that have already been purchased may not be fully refundable.
Delivery times are agreed in advance. GIS will do their utmost to comply with any agreed delivery time and understand the urgency of all requests. We will establish an agreed delivery time and date in agreement with the Customer. Shipping costs (if applicable) will be calculated on single orders and will be stated in the quotation.
Before signing for the products the customer is advised to inspect the contents of the order and to verify that the goods are correct and in an acceptable condition. We cannot accept returns once products have been signed for and taken on board.
GIS will not accept requests for partial or total refund for reasons of force majeure (accident, bad weather etc) or wrong or incomplete shipping address, for any delays attributable to the Customer, delays in communication, payment delay, delay in order confirmation, Customer not present for the delivery, last minute changes or cancellation, or lack of communication on the part of the Customer.
payment
Payment is due upon reception unless agreed otherwise. Accepted payments: cash, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and wire transfers (for account holders, payment is due within 14 days from the invoice date).
Customers are required to inspect the goods upon delivery. Once signed and taken on board, returns are not accepted.
All goods remain the sole property of GIS until full payment is received.
Any legal disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the Foro di Genova.
VAT-FREE DELIVERIES
Are allowed if your yacht fulfills all the following criteria:
- Commercially registered (Certificate required).
- Used exclusively for commercial purposes, with a permanent crew (Crew list required).
- During the previous fiscal year, the vessel operated more than 70% of its cruises in international waters (Declaration of Compliance required).
- The quantity of purchased goods aligns with the charter’s duration and number of guests.
To request VAT-free status, inform us at least 48 hours before delivery. Customs clearance fees apply, starting from €90, depending on weight and value.
VAT-free deliveries are only possible during Customs opening hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00-12:00 and 14:00- 17:00). Customs may board the vessel for inspections before or after delivery. Once cleared, no returns are accepted. Tax-free status cannot be claimed retrospectively.
