ORDERING

Email us at info@gisprovisioning.com along with your shopping list, special requirements, preferred delivery place, date and time. We will email you back to confirm all the details.

Please send your order at least 24 hours prior to delivery for local orders (Genoa area), 2 days prior to delivery for Ligurian ports or 3 days prior to delivery for any other destination.

All over the Mediterranean in our refrigerated vans from our warehouse in the logistics area of Genoa. We can help you exceed your culinary requirements, with our exclusive products, the best cuts/choices, optimum freshness and an efficient and fast delivery service.

Free of charge delivery in the Genoa Area (between Marina Genova and Waterfront Marina) subject to minimum order.

terms and conditions

Our quotations are valid for 7 days from the quoted date. Quotations and prices provided for fresh, perishable and/or seasonal produce are estimates only for guidance purposes, and prices payable by the Customer are determined at the time of purchase based upon prevailing market prices. We reserve the right to re-quote or cancel the order if necessary.

All prices are quoted in Euro ex VAT.

When an order is sent to Genoa International Supplies Srl (GIS) the Customer accepts an agreement to complete the order and sales contract within the time agreed.

In case of unavailability of a specific product, GIS will endeavour to supply a product of similar nature or superior quality, providing the specific information to the Customer in advance.

The Customer acknowledges that Goods ordered will often be perishable in nature, and accordingly if the Customer either cancels the Contract or fails to accept delivery of the Goods within 3 working days, GIS shall be entitled to invoice the Customer for all work carried out to date and goods that have already been purchased may not be fully refundable.

Delivery times are agreed in advance. GIS will do their utmost to comply with any agreed delivery time and understand the urgency of all requests. We will establish an agreed delivery time and date in agreement with the Customer. Shipping costs (if applicable) will be calculated on single orders and will be stated in the quotation.

Before signing for the products the customer is advised to inspect the contents of the order and to verify that the goods are correct and in an acceptable condition. We cannot accept returns once products have been signed for and taken on board.

GIS will not accept requests for partial or total refund for reasons of force majeure (accident, bad weather etc) or wrong or incomplete shipping address, for any delays attributable to the Customer, delays in communication, payment delay, delay in order confirmation, Customer not present for the delivery, last minute changes or cancellation, or lack of communication on the part of the Customer.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on reception of the merchandise, cash and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Amex) are all welcome. If an account is held, wire payment delays are 14 days from the date of invoice. Payment method will be agreed on confirmation of the order.

All goods remain the sole property of GIS until payment has been made in full.
Contention: In the case of any contention solely the “Foro di Genova” is entitled.
VAT free deliveries are allowed if your yacht and charter fulfils all the following conditions:

  • Yacht is commercially registered (Certificate to be provided).
  • Yacht is used for commercial purposes only, with a permanent crew (Crew list to be provided).
  • Yacht exit Italian waters for at least 70% of trips per year (Declaration of Compliance must be provided).
  • Charter is not static (specific Charter Agreement to be provided).
  • Amount of goods purchased is in keeping with the charter duration and number of guests.

We must be informed at least 48 hours prior to delivery if you are requesting VAT Free status.

Customs charge a custom clearance fee that varies according to the value and the weight of the goods (at least 90€).

Tax-free deliveries can only take place during Customs opening hours (9-12 and 14-17, Monday to Friday) as Customs reserve the right to board the vessel for inspection of the goods during or after VAT free deliveries.

None return of goods can be accepted once the delivery has cleared Customs.

Tax free status can not be claimed retrospectively.
